The main advantage of studying hotel and restaurant business in ONUT is the opportunity of international internship in Europe and the world from the first year: in restaurants and hotels of USA (under the international program «Work and Travel»), France (under agreement with FEFU), Greece (with Muzenidis Travel), Turkey (with Anex Tour and Туі), Germany (under agreement with MitOst and Profiteam) and other European countries. Every year about 100 students go through such an international internship.
Students of the Department of Hotel and Catering Business also have the opportunity to participate in the international mobility program Erasmus+, hanks to which they have the opportunity to study simultaneously at ONUT and one of the universities in Europe, while receiving a double diploma. Common subjects are automatically credited, and all other students study according to an individual study schedule. The most popular universities chosen by our students are Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo (Portugal), The University of Sheffield International Faculty, CITY College (Greece), University of Wales Trinity Saint David (Great Britain) та International Hellenic University (Greece).
