Internships in Ukraine - Chair of Hotel and Restaurant Business

The main emphasis in training is on the practical aspects of the hotel and restaurant business (on real examples of existing institutions). Classes are led by practitioners, specialists in restaurant consulting, hotel business and tourism. Seminars of teachers of universities of other countries, and also known restaurateurs and hoteliers of Odessa are regularly held.

First-year students undergo an introductory internship at the hotel and restaurant business, where they practically consolidate basic knowledge of infrastructure and the basics of hospitality. Senior students undergo industrial, organizational, technological and research internships at leading enterprises of the hotel and restaurant industry, health complexes and recreation centers of Odessa and the region: Mozart Hotel LLC, OG Central LLC, Arcadia Group LLC, LLC “OK Odessa”, LLC “PALADA”, LLC “Odesatourist”, LOC “White Acacia”, Hotel “Orange”, LLC “Walker”, LLC “Walker”, cafe network “Protesto”, cafe ” Bloom “,” Lazy Crazy “,” Milona “,” Telescope “, restaurant” Clouds “and others.

Also, students have the opportunity from the first year to participate in international internship in Europe and the world or to participate in an international mobility program Erasmus+

Internship enterprises

Hotel «Bristol» is a five-star hotel in the center of Odessa, a landmark of architecture and heritage of the city, built in 1899. It was the first 4-storey hotel and the most luxurious and pompous. Hotel “Bristol” has a number of rooms, which is rightly considered the best in Odessa, unique interiors of precious metal, marble, rare wood and original fabric decorations, specially brought from Italy during the restoration of the hotel, which was made in 2010.

Hotel «Mozart» located in the historic center of Odessa, in close proximity to the architectural and historical heritage of the city – the Opera and Ballet Theater, which is rightly considered one of the most beautiful architectural works in Europe. The building of the Mozart Business Hotel in Odessa is not inferior in its historical value to the famous theater. During the reconstruction, according to old photos and plans of the hotel, which was located in the same building in the early XIX century, the facade and interior of the premises were restored. Today, the Mozart Hotel is a European-level hotel that meets high modern standards, but retains the authenticity of its architecture.

«Central» is a famous hotel with an unusual history and destiny. The building was built in the XIX century and is the pride of pre-revolutionary Odessa. Here are preserved ancient spiral staircases, paintings on the ceilings, columns and the romantic atmosphere of the same Odessa of songs and memories. In addition to classic rooms, the hotel has 4 concept rooms in the style of different eras from the classics of the 19th century to the retro 60-70’s.
