The Department of Hotel and Catering Business has access to specialized software for the hotel and restaurant industry, which can be used by students and teachers.

Poster — a cloud program for automation of cafes, bars, restaurants, and other types of establishments. The system helps to keep inventory and financial records, view statistics on the institution, create promotions, loyalty programs and more. There is an agreement with the company to provide demo access for students and teachers. The computer class has a terminal for printing checks and runners (Sam4s Ellix 50DB Ethernet thermal printer). Front and back office working with laptop.

There is an agreement with TravelLine, which creates innovative management tools for the hotel industry, to provide demo access to the company’s products:

  • TL Готель. Online booking module for the site: will show the guest free rooms, rates, additional services, your chosen payment methods; immediately after booking, send the guest a letter with a voucher, and sends you the details of fresh booking.
  • TL Channel Manager. Sales channel management: combines sales through online channels in one personal account; instantly update the availability of rooms and rates; free from overbooking and errors possible during manual processing.
  • TL WebPMS. ACS for mini-hotels and hostels: works wherever there is Internet, without downloading to a computer; quickly create a reservation, save guest data, compile reports; will fill in the documents itself, even according to your template.
  • TL Reputation. Online reputation management: collect new reviews about you on popular Internet sites; will simplify the publication of reviews on the site and show your rating on all guest ratings.
  • TL Rate Shopper. Competitor price analysis: monitors changes in competitors’ prices; compares them by room categories; prepares reports with which you can quickly change the tariff policy.

Virtual simulator F&BSim — simulation of hotel F&B service management. Teams of students work as directors of the F&B service in their virtual hotel, competing in the competition for the demand for food and beverages for both hotel guests and tourists from outside. Virtual environments reflect real-time market dynamics. The developer of the program is Russell Partnership Technology. Accessed with a grant from La Fondation pour la Formation Hôtelière.
